GAA NOTES

UNDER 8 FOOTBALL: Ferrybank under 8 Gaelic Football played in the Carraiganore blitz last Saturday. Ferrybank played 2 Football games against fierce opponents in Tramore & St Pats. Ferrybank conceeded some early scores, but as the game wore on the lads settled into it and defended well. With the combination of the regular team, plus the bonus of new players, Ferrybank proved themselves a force to be reckoned with. The lads with their kicking, and their sheer tenacity proved fatal for the opposition. Ferrybank should be proud of the performance our under 8 put into today. Special thanks to all the parents who got the kids ready for the day and to the venue on time. There support was incredible, and the kids felt like superstars. We could not do this without their support. Well done lads and remember we have a hurling match on Wednesday August 24th at 6:30pm in Ferrybank against Ballyragget
