UNDER 16 HURLING: Our under 16 hurlers made a winning start in their first game in the Bord Na Nog hurling championship with a 1-10 to 1-4 victory against Dunhill. Weather conditions were bad with wind and rain throughout the match, making life difficult for both teams. However where it mattered was on the scoreboard and Ferrybank were always in control during the game picking up some good scores. This was a good result for Ferrybank, which sets them up nicely for the remaining games in the championship. Thanks to all who helped out on the night.
