ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

Our Junior hurlers are back in Championship action this coming Friday night August 11th with a home game against St. Saviours in John J Murphy sponsored competition at 7:15pm. This will be a tough test for the team, and your support will be welcomed on the night.

Ferrybank’s Under 16 hurlers are back in action this coming Wednesday night with a home game against Cois Bhride at 7pm. Having got back to winning ways last time, the lads will want to maintain their Championship challenge with another win, and your support will be welcomed.

No joy for the combined Ferrybank/Erin’s Own side as they went down narrowly to Roanmore last Wednesday night in Cleaboy on a scoreline of 3-07 to 2-07.

The club are holding a bag pack in Dunnes Stores, City Square on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th August from 10am-6pm.  As we all know volunteers will be needed, so if you have a couple of hours to help out on either days, it will be very much appreciated. You can contact Nicky Heffernan on 087-6724212.

The fourth Déise Draw of 2017 will take place this coming Wednesday 9th August in Abbeyside, and let’s hope we can have some more winners on the night. A huge thanks to all who have purchased tickets for the draw. Congratulations to Fran Freeman who was the confined winner for July.
