Best of luck to Naoise MacCathmhaoil, Martin Freeman (Selector) and the Waterford U17 Footballers as they play Cork in the Championship this coming Tuesday night in Fraher Field at 7:30pm.
Also, hard luck to Mark O' Brien, who was part of the Waterford Senior hurling team that were defeated by Galway in Salthill last Sunday afternoon in the National Hurling League quarter-finals.

The third annual Angela Burns Memorial 10K Fun Run/Walk, kindly sponsored by Harvey Travel, Gladstone St., will take place on Sunday April 23rd at 11am from the GAA grounds.

It was a busy few days for the Footballers with two games in a couple of days. Late Wednesday night the lads welcomed Dungravan, and in a close hard fought game, with the light fading fast, the sides finished all square on 1-04 each.
On Sunday Morning, the lads travelled to play leaders Rathgormack, and despite a great effort from the team, Rathgormack ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-08 to 2-03. Next up is a home game next Sunday April 9th at 11am against Naomh Brid.

Our Under 13 Footballers play away to Clan Na Gael this coming Saturday April 8th at 3pm.

The City Hurling League resumes this coming Friday night April 7th with Ferrybank playing at  home to St. Mary’s at 6:30pm.

Our Intermediate & Junior hurlers had worthwhile challenge games at the weekend, as they prepare for their upcoming Championship action in the next couple of weeks.

The 2017 Déise draw will take place on Wednesday May 10th. 6 draws will take place throughout the year, 1 per month, with the prize money increasing, with a top prize of €12,500. There will be 20 cash prizes each month, and tickets will cost €15 per month. The club will get 70% from the draw, so we would encourage all members of the club to support this fantastic draw.
