INTERMEDIATE HURLING:
Our Intermediate hurlers are back in Gerry Kennedy Crash Repairs Championship action this coming Friday night June 10th with a game against Erin’s Own in Walsh Park at 7:30pm. No doubt a big test awaits the players, and let’s hope they can come out on top. Your support will be appreciated on the night.

COUNTY DUTY:
Congratulations to Shane Oates who lined out for Waterford in the Primary school game in Thurles last Sunday, and to Mark O' Brien who lined out for the Waterford Intermediate hurlers also in Thurles last Sunday against Clare.

UNDER 12 HURLING:
Ferrybank U12 travelled to Portlaw tonight to play in the City League. The lads soared with 3 goals in the first 10 minutes.
However, the home side retaliated at lightning speed and they were only 2 points behind at half-time.
Portlaw came out all guns blazing in the second-half and quickly notched up more scores. A combination of the heat and the school matches our lads played earlier in the day took its toll. End result Portlaw 6-05 to Ferrybank 4-00.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL:
Our Junior Footballers were defeated by De La Salle in their opening game in this year’s championship on a score-line of 2-09 to 1-07 last Wednesday night.

NURSERY GROUP:
Don’t forget that the club has our nursery group for boys and girls aged 5 and 6 years old every Saturday morning from 10am to 11am. The club nursery group teaches children the basic movements and skills required to play Gaelic games. These include agility, balance, co-ordination, running, jumping, throwing, catching, kicking and striking. It’s also a great way to introduce new children and parents to the club. All equipment, hurleys and helmets will be supplied.

CLOTHING COLLECTION:
It’s the final week of the clothing collection finishing up on June 11th, so if you have any unwanted clothes, paired shoes, belts, handbags, curtains towels, soft toys, you can drop them to the GAA grounds any night this week.
