INTERMEDIATE HURLING:
Ferrybank Intermediate hurlers have been paired with
Ballygunner, Mount Sion, Clonea, Dunhill, and Erin’s Own in this year’s
championship. The top four teams qualify for the quarter-finals. The opening
game is provisionally pencilled in for w/e 8th May.
JUNIOR HURLING:
The Junior hurlers have been grouped with Ballyduff Lower,
Butlerstown, St. Mollerans, St. Saviours, Kilmacthomas, Fenor and St. Pauls
with the top four teams qualifying for the next round.
JUNIOR FOOTBALL:
In the Junior Football proper, Ferrybank will play Mount
Sion, Roanmore, St. Pauls, Ballyduff Lower, Kill, Portlaw, Bonmahon and De La
Salle with the top two teams going straight to the semi-finals, and the next
four teams playing in quarter-finals.
UNDER 21 HURLING:
The Under 21 hurlers will be teaming up with Erin’s Own in
this year’s Championship.
ANGELA BURNS MEMORIAL
10K:
The Angela Burns Memorial 10K Fun Run will take place on
Sunday April 24th at 11am. This is a hugely popular event, and with
a bit of a stretch in the evenings, now is the time to get yourself out and
about. Ferrybank Road Runners meet in the GAA field every Tuesday and Thursday
night at 7pm, and everyone is most welcome to come along and enjoy a leisurely
run.
