UNDER 11 HURLING

Tonight was another successful night for the Ferrybank under 11 hurlers in their second game of the city league against De La Salle in Gracedieu. From the throw in, Ferrybank dominated and rattled in four goals, and as many points in quick succession. De La Salle started to come back into the game, but the wealth of our defence of Caolan, Odhran, Isaak, Daniel W, Sean Heff, Sean Fagan held them at bay. The two Shanes controlled the midfield, while the half forwards Ruaidhri & Jake riddled the DLS defence. DLS emerged a stronger team in the second half, and managed to claw back 1-01, but Daniel Griff & Alex Byrne enjoyed great goal scores, while Joe & Mattie contuined to hammer the homesides goal, and ran out 7-08 to 1-01 winners.
