GAA NOTES

Congratulations to Theo Kavanagh (Under 14) and Ryan Tierney (Under 13) who have been invited along with their Parents, to attend the 2014 County Board Na Nog awards night, which is been hosted by Tramore Gaa Club on Friday Nov 28th. The two lads will pick up their Man of the Match awards for their fantastic performances during the Football County Finals. Well done lads.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: Its hard to believe thats its the time of the year again, and the Ferrybank Gaa Club will host their Annual Christmas Party for Boys & Girls from the age groups of Under 6,8,10,12 on Sunday December 14th in the Parish hall from 1:30pm-3pm. The cost per child is €5, and each child will see Santa and receive a selection box. All money MUST be paid in Advance, and can be paid to any of the Organisers. GREYHOUND NIGHT: The Annual night at the Dogs will take place on Saturday Nov 22nd in Kilcohan Park at 8pm. Tickets are currently on sale from Declan Howard 087-9393818 or from behind the Bar at Flynns or the Briar Rose. Tickets cost €10, and we would encourage everyone associated with the club, Players, Supporters, Members, Families to come along and support this night out. We would ask all to pre-purchase your tickets to ensure the club benefits. The main prize on the night, which has been kindly Sponsored by Harvey Travel is a weekend for two in the four star Castleross Hotel, Killarney, including two nights B&B and one evening meal, plus many more prizes on the night. There will also be a Curteous Buses leaving from the Bus Shelter opposite the Spar shop from 6:45pm, and returning from Kilcohan Park at 10:30pm.
