Going into the game, Ferrybank were missing a couple of key players, but this didnt deter the lads, and turned in a good performance. Ferrybank made a good start to the game with Eoin O' Neill pointing, and a minute later John Ahern picked up a loose ball in the Saviours area and scored a fine goal. St Saviours started the second half strongly with two points to creep closer, but a point from Mark O' Brien scored a point to keep Ferrybank ahead. St Saviours began to put pressure on the Ferrybank defence, but the lads held firm, as the game began to heat up. St Saviours got to three points of Ferrybank, as the game entered the closing stages further points from Mark and John gave them some breathing space, and Eoin O' Neill scored a insurance point late on, and with time almost up, John Ahern latched onto a loose ball held his nerve, and rounded the goalie and slotted the ball to the net.
