U9 Hurling Report - 13/06/14

Despite the day and date, our lads did not fail to impress. Shane Purcell dominated midfield, assisted by his U8 peer Caolan. The defence were concrete and consisted of all of Under-8s; Paddy, Michael and Joe while young Conor Daly (another Under 8) was in his usual excellent form in goal. Sean, Kyle and Fionn riddled the passage defences in a blitzkrieg style. Passage bounced back in the second-half to provide a feast of hurling but the damage was done. Well done to Ferrybank and special thanks to Passage for the manner in which they played the game.
