GAA NOTES

UNDER 6 HURLING: The Ferrybank under 6 team provided yet another feast of top class hurling yesterday in the Ballygunner Blitz. The lads played four games against the hosts. In the first three games, Ferrybank were unstoppable in their scoring, and indeed the sliothar barely came into our half of the pitch. The final game proved a much tougher affair, and we suffered a very narrow defeat, but it was a great game. The kids are obviously enjoying and thriving in their hurling, and this is down to the support of the Parents and relatives. Please contuine this encouragement.
