GAA NOTES

UNDER 6 &and 8 HURLING: Our Under 6 &and 8 Hurlers played our local neighbours Slieverue last night in a couple of challenge games. Ferrybank put in a great effort last night, with almost 30 kids donning the Jersey, and they dominated both matches. The recent victories for the Ferrybank kids obviously inflated their confidence, and coupled with their hurling skills they were unstoppable. The teamwork was explempary and was on show for all to see. Thanks to all for the massive support, and to Slieverue for hmanner in which they played the game, and to both teams for a good nights hurling. Special thanks to the Parents and Grandparents who got the kids ready to the venue on time. The support was incredible, and the kids felt like Superstars.

MINOR HURLING: Tomorrow night Thursday July 26th in Ferrybank at 7pm, our Minor hurlers are back in action against Ardmore. With two wins out of two, the lads will be keen to maintain their unbeaten record, and move a step closer to the knockout stages. Why not come along to the field tomorrow night and support the team.
