UNDER 8 FOOTBALL:
Last night our Under 8 Footballers travelled to Gaultier to play 3 matches against Mt Sion, and 2 Gaultier teams. The 1st game was a titanic battle, against Gaultier where the backline of Jake, Shane E, Alex, Jessie stood firm and did not conceede a score in the entire game. In Midfield Shane P, Ciaran, Jamie, Daniel, held their own throughout,and fed plenty of ball into the forwards. The forward Line of Sean F, Sean H, Liam, Aaron, came close on a few occasions, but could not get the all important score, and the game ended in a draw. Next up was a game against Mt Sion, and again it was an evenly matched game, with the lads coming out on top. In the last game against Gaultier, the lads showed good team work, and got some excellent scores to win the game. Well done to the team on a good performance, and thanks to the parents for their support, as it wathe first time at the Gaultier venue. Thanks to he hosts for providing the referees and for the lay out of the field.
