Under 10 match report. Our Under 10's played Tramore in Carriganore in their first game of the year yesterday. It was a hard fought encounter with the two teams giving their all. Tramore created the best chances of the first half, but with some great defending from our backline and some excellent saves from Arron Ahearne in goal they failed to breach the Ferrybank defence. The second half started with Ferrybank taking the game to Tramore with chances created at both ends again our defence stood firm and held off the Tramore attack. The all important goal came with only minutes left on the clock; a long ball found it's way to Jack Keogh who finished the ball to the Tramore net. Tramore threw everything at the Ferrybank men but once again the defence stood strong and held off their attacks to hold out for the win. Well done to all involved, the management would like to thank parents who gave up their time to drive the children to and from the match.
