UNDER 8 HURLING:
Our under 8 hurlers travelled to Carriganore last Saturday for the Blitz which included Butlerstown, St Olivers, St Saviours. Ferrybank played a total of four games and dominated most of the games. This proved another favourable day for the parish, as the lads did us proud against fierce opponents. The teamwork was fantastic, as illustrated by the fine scores in the second game. Jake, in goal sent the Sliothar up to midfield, where Izaak, Jamie, Ruaidhri outwitted their opponents, and managed to supply the ball to the forwards where Alex, Jessie, Sean, Daniel struck gold after sustained attacks. The lads repeated this format throughout the game, and the strong defence including Alex and Ross ensured not a lot got past them. Well done lads, thanks for a great day out. Thanks to all the parents who came along and cheered on the team. Training contuines on Thursday at 6:30pm and Saturday's at 10am.
