BALLYGUNNER BLITZ: Ferrybank under 8 Footballers travelled to Ballygunner today to play in the Football Blitz. Ferrybank dominated 3 out of the 4 games today.PANEL: Jake Butler, Sean Heffernan, Ruaidhri McGarrity, Jamie Sutton, Samuel Lesack, Deacon Purcell. Although we were short of numbers today, the lads made up for it in stature, with their tenacious spirit and great results. The teamwork was second to none with Jake Butler excellent Kickouts, midfield and forwards of Deacon, Ruaidhri, Jamie got ample opportunities to score. Sean and Samuel werelike two terriers in defence, giving nothing away. A terrific day for the club again, and hats of to the team. MEMBERSHIP: Membership for the 2012 season is now due. Adults £50 euro. Student/unwaged £25 euro, Minor/Associated member £10 euro. We would encourage all players to pay their membership in order to be insured.
DEISE DRAW: Support your local Ferrybank Gaa club by buying a 2012 deise ticket. For just £10 euro per month for 9 months. This is the most important fundraising event in the Gaa club calendar, and the revenue from this goes a long way towards the huge expense of running a club. The 1st draw takes place on Friday March 30th of a new Toyota Aygo or 10,000 euro for the 1st draw. 1st prize for the remainder of the draws will be £10,000 euro, 2nd/3rd prize £1,000 euro, 4th/7th prize £500 euro, 8th/13th £250 euro.
