BALLYGUNNER BLITZ: Ferrybank under 8 hurling team played in the Ballygunner Blitz on Saturday last 18th Feb. TEAM: Jake Butler, Sean Heffernan, Ruaidhri McGarrity, Jamie Sutton, Odhran Power, Izaak Richards, Samuel Lesack, Alex Burke- Derham, Sean Fagan, Shane Purcell, Caolan MacCathmhaoil, Daniel Griffin, Daniel Walsh. Ferrybank played a total of 6 games with the panel split into 2 teams. This proved another favourable day for the parish as the teams did us proud against fierce opponents including, Ballygunner, Mt Sion, St Saviours, De La Salle, Passage. The boys clearly enjoyed the day, and the winter break has clearly wetted their appetite for matches. Well done lads, so keep up the good work. Special thanks to all the parents who got the kids to the venue on time and their support. Next Saturday Feb 25th the Ballygunner Blitz contuines at 10am with under 8 Football taking centre stage.
