UNDER 6 & 8 HURLING: Our under 6 & 8 hurlers played Sacred Heart on Wednesday last.UNDER 6 TEAM: Dylan White- Carton, Kyle Daly, Conor Daly, Shane Purcell, Michael MacLawrence, Jessie Byrne, Adam Sinnott, Alex Burke- Derham, Deacon Purcell, Adam Aspel, Caolan Mac Cathmhaoil, Fionn McGarrity.
UNDER 8 TEAM: Jake Butler, Alex Burke, Matthew O' Sullivan, Jamie Sutton, Eddie Daly, Ruaidhri mcGarrity, Shane Oates, Kyle O' Brien, Izaak Richards, Ross Burke- Derham, Sean Heffernan, Mark Imiren, Daniel Griffin, Sean Fagan, James Tyler, Ciaran Clark, Femi Ajay, Odhran Power, Samuel Lesack.
The under 6 panel was split into 2 teams and Ferrybank dominated both. The young fellas had a ball and put in a great display of hurling for the proud parents. The under 8 game proved a much tougher affair, but the lads put in a fantastic effort and got a well deserved draw. The lads illustrated their hurling skills, and the improvement was their for all to see. Well done to all the Ferrybank lads, you did yourselves and the club proud. Thanks to Sacred Heart for been excellent hosts, and to the teams for a great evenings entertainment. Well done lads. As always thanks to the parents for their support.
