The club would like to say a sincere thanks to Mr Eoin Kelly [hurlie maker] and Pat Douglas, of Douglas Products.[ sponser]
The two lads came along to the under 9s hurling training on Wednesday evening and presented the club with a batch of hurlies for the lads, and it is greatly appriceated by this club.
Eoin Kelly then spoke to the players at lenght, and stayed for a full 2 hours coaching advising and training the young lads.
This went down a bomb with the young lads and at the end of the 2 hours word had spread that the great Waterford hurler was in the field, so by the time Eoin and Pat Douglas [owner of Douglas Marine Products] were leaving the field was covered by about 200 hundred youngsters.
