Under 14 Hurling
Under 14 HurlingThe under 14 hurlers started the championship off with a win over Kilmacthomas in Ferrybank on Monday last with a scoreline of 5-7 to 0-3. The scoreline flatters our team and it wasn’t until the last quarter that we pulled away from the opposition. Scorers: Mark Russell 2-3, Eoin Falconer 2-1, Mark Howard 1-1, and Robert Carew 0-2 Alex Kinsella 0-1.On Monday last June 16 we travelled to Ardmore and after an indifferent performance we came through with at 0-12 to 1-7 victory but not before it took 2 brilliant saves from Keith Power in the very last minute. Robbie Carew continued his scoring form hitting over 4 points from play.Team K Power, J Lawless, S Quinn, C MacCathnaoil, D Hickey, S Morrissey, J Diggins, M Russell, J Ahern, MJ Sutton, G Kinsella, E Falconer, R Carew, M Howard, A Kinsella, O MacCathnaoil, S de la Paz.Next game against Kilrossanty on Monday June 23 in Leamybrien at 7.30
