Our intermediate football team lost by 4 points this afternoon to Newtown in Walsh Park. Newtown started well but the slip lads got an early goal. Newtown continued to dominate through out the half until they had a player sent off.
After the resumption of play Newtown now playing with the wind held there own before firing over a couple of points to put pressure on Ferrybank. Ferrybank responded with a goal but shot some bad wides allowing Newtown to run out winners.
