Under 5/6/7/8 Fixtures for Go Games Blitzes May 2008
Please see attached details of the forthcoming Go Games blitzes U7/8 to take place in May 2008. Here in Waterford we will have a series of blitzes in each of the GPO divisions. Attached with this letter are the fixtures for your division. Please take note of dates and venues of all fixtures to ensure that your club can get a full benefit from the blitz. Please note the following information.
· Games are 7 side with panels of 10 players.
· The blitz is for U7 and U8 players and teams should be mixed accordingly.
· Each team will play 2 games each night of the blitz
· There will be 4 weeks of the blitz
· Young Whistlers will be provided at each venue.
· If clubs do not have enough portable goalposts training poles can be used.
· Games will be 10 mins a side each.
· Waterford will be getting 12 sets of goalposts based on numbers participating. 6 sets will be raffled between clubs in the Eastern Division and 6 sets will be raffled between clubs in the Western Division. Clubs who participate fully only will be included in the draw.
