Our under 16s played Clonea tonight in the club grounds. Ferrybank started well but failed to convert early pressure into points. Clonea respond and found their scores easier to get and moved into the lead and soon got a lucky goal when a long delivery deceived the Ferrybank keeper, Clonea therefore went in a half time with a big lead. The second half saw the Slip boys put in a bigger effort but could not reduce the lead. The final score was 1.12 to 0.05. Best for Ferrybank were Sam Lawless, Damian Ahern and Aidan Sinnott.
