ABP sponsored Ferrybank GAA Weekly Notes

COUNTY DUTY:

Hard luck to Iona Heffernan and the Waterford Senior Camogie team that bowed out of this year's All-Ireland Championship, last Saturday afternoon against Tipperary in Páirc Uí Chaoimh, following a close game

While, despite a brave effort, it was no joy for John Burns, Mark O' Brien and the Waterford Senior Hurling team that were defeated by Limerick in the Munster Final last Sunday afternoon in Thurles. Hopefully the team can make a winning return next weekend in the All-Ireland quarter finals.

CONDOLENCES:

Ferrybank GAA Club would like to express their sincere sympathies to the family of the late Johnny O' Neill who sadly passed away during the week. Johnny lined out for the Club in the late 1970s and 1980s, and was on the defeated Ferrybank Senior Football team that were involved in two County Football finals in '79 & '82. Ar Dheis De go Raibh a h-anam.
